Day one complete

A Single Moment

It is underway, my senior film “A Single Moment” has started production. It’s a story about addiction, depression and friendship. We have a great crew, a fantastic cast. What we shot last night was amazing, over the next month more amazing things are going to happen. One of the locations is in beautiful Donner Lake, the city and streets of San Francisco, and for recent development, rainy day football. How does all of this tie into a story of addiction, depression and friendship? Stay tuned and find out.

The Acid Bath

I had the opportunity to work on a feature length film in the Thriller genre. This film is inspired by actual evens. Here is a brief description from the films facebook page.
At the turn of the century (1999-2000 not 1899-1900) a New Orleans cop stumbles upon a twelve-year-old girl walking the streets covered in blood.
She’s tells him a story about two brothers who have for days slit her wrists and drank her blood. The police quickly raid their house, killing both brothers and discovering dozens of bodies, as well as three other survivors.
Ten years later, a writer from New York moves into the same area where the murders took place. She knows nothing of its horrible past until she happens upon a journal detailing the life of one of the survivors.
What she learns is both shocking and seductive.

The Importance Of Video

So this guy Joe ‘codeloss‘ Kowalski is a Graphic Designer who worked on the video game Brutal Legend. As you can tell YouTube has changed the world in the fact that everyone can view this video on there. So here we have a Graphic designer who worked on a video game, which was promoted using Television Commercials (Video). How does Joe show his work, through video. Writing will always have it’s place in this world but sometimes you can’t beat showing the work you did. Boing Boing is the site I got the video from and they give a bit more detail about the project.
